Summer Show, Cricket & 'Room on the Broom' at Great Notley Park

What a varied and exciting week we've had so far and it's not over yet!
On Monday we were the audience for the dress rehearsal of the Summer show. It was excellent, thank you KS 2 for inviting us.

Then on Tuesday we had our final cricket lesson with a coach from Colchester Utd. We practised batting, bowling and fielding and finished with mini games.

Finally, yesterday we had our class trip to Great Notley park for a 'Room on the Broom' experience! We made magic potions, dragons, broomsticks and wands. We had a wonderful day and only got a little bit wet. Here are some of the photos I took, Mrs MacMorrin also took lots which I am sure she will upload too. Thank you so much to the mums who came with us on our trip.

Don't forget to hand in your maths homework next week about fractions.  I am looking forward to seeing how creative you've been!

  1. Class 2 what another amazing week of learning you've had. That's right I said learning. You don't even realise you're learning do you?! You're too busy having too much fun.

We have found on YouTube a great little song about fractions. I'm pretty sure lots of children in class 2 and in fact the world might recognise the tune.
