Creative Theme Work

Last Friday we began to make drawings in clay, inspired by the 'Lascaux cave paintings' discovered in France
by four boys and their little dog in 1940. We watched a virtual tour of the caves. The children were fascinated and kept asking were they real?!
They took great care with their drawings trying to replicate the ones they had seen. I think they did a great job!

Some children also painted onto paper covered in sand.
What a lovely variety of  ideas!
