The Romans

At the end of last week, we began learning about the Romans. Next week we will begin learning about Queen Boudica. For the next few weeks we will be learning how to present information, including using ICT, all linked to finding out about the Romans in Britain.
In our Art lesson on friday, we learnt about mosaics and looked at some Roman mosaics and then had a go at making our own. The children couldn't wait to get started! You can see some of the results below - very impressive so far!  Well you wouldn't expect anything less from a class of Super Heroes, would you?!!

    Wowzers! They really are fantastic mosaics. You truly are clever old beams you lot in class two. I very much enjoyed watching some of you on Friday in the playground dressed as superheroes playing bulldog. You really did look at battle with each other!

    Dear Mrs M&M. Grace has tried to complete her maths online homework but we still struggle with the clam one on the iPad even through the photon app. We do what we can. Grace loves the "doubling" game

    I liked looking at all the aboriginal art. it was really cool how all the dots made a picture. Bella Noble
