Healthy Faces!

In Science year 2 were learning about the importance of a healthy, balanced diet. We then had great fun creating faces from fruit and vegetables. Here are some of the children's creations!

Goodbye Ducklings and World Book Day

We said 'goodbye' to the ducklings today as they had grown too big to be kept in a cage, they will now be roaming freely on the farm. On Monday we named them and they went swimming!

We had great fun for World Book Day, lots of fantastic costumes as the children dressed up as characters from their favourite books. 

The adults joined in too!

After reading the wonderful story 'Giraffes Can't Dance', we recreated our own jungle dance by making dancing animals. It involved lots of problem solving, including how to make the peg giraffes stand up!
