We measured the length of our arms, making sure the metre stick was the right way round! |
We recorded this in a table |
We each threw the bean bag and measured carefully using a long tape measure |
Esmé has the longest arms in our class but William threw the bean bag the furthest. After the investigation most of the children decided that the length of arms didn't affect how far you could throw but it was probably due to strength, power and technique.
Maths homework this week is to practise telling the time, many children found this difficult. Please see homework books for more details. There is a phonics activity and I will make sure there are plenty of books to read on Bug Club.
Change of PE day to Tuesday next half term - Colchester United coaches will be taking our lessons. The children will need a tracksuit and trainers and we start the first day back.
Have a fabulous half term holiday, I look forward to hearing all about it when we return.
